SAP's product line includes a business intelligence product. Users found the product to be quite useful in a number of analytical roles and well suited for the construction of complex data warehouses, but they also were quick to recognize that it requires lengthy and expensive preparations. Among complementary software solutions, QlikView is an attractive alternative when companies need quick data analysis and do not require a complex Data Warehouse or Data Mart. As one user put it: "Using QlikView it took us a day and a half to fulfill 80% of requirements that we had not been able to satisfy in year and a half using SAP BW ".
