ABSTRACT:
One of Australia's leading telecommunications providers wished to improve its supplier arrangements in the areas of quality, cost and cycle-times. It also required to implement new arrangements to ensure that key knowledge was brought back 'in-house' to their own staff, particularly in the 'start-up' phases of software development.

Infosys was identified by the client as one of its key suppliers in the journey to transform its application development and maintenance landscape.

Infosys initially contributed to the client adopting a revised IT Delivery process, to effect consistency of operations. The client reviewed its vendor strategy resulting in Infosys being selected as a key supplier for a number of application portfolios. The scope of services includes development and enhancement work, together with production support & maintenance.
