In the fine tradition of MATRIX and VITec ELT UNIX imagery exploitation software, VITec PC defines the standard for the PC platform. With a smart architecture, built using Microsoft foundation classes, Direct X and object-oriented design, VITec PC is postured for the new millennia. This product is poised to work with emerging distributed computing environments. Presenting the look and feel of a generic Windows application, anyone with experience on a personal computer can easily take advantage of its capabilities, with little or no training required. Desktop publishing is simplified, affording the user the ability to quickly crop image products and paste them into Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. Full-time mensuration support allows for a detailed understanding of the target of interest, previously only available on expensive UNIX workstations. As with our past products, VITec PC will continue to be refined by feedback from our user community. Much of the functionality demanded by imagery analysts has been included in this low-cost alternative. Additional capabilities will be added to each new release. We are convinced that you will not find a better alternative for today’s mission, or the projected tasks of this new century.
