Description
FMS is the leading developer of tools and related products for the Microsoft Access, Visual Basic and SQL Server communities. FMS also offers custom consulting services for clients seeking database solutions using Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Visual Basic, and/or the Internet. Founded in 1986 by Luke Chung (president) as Financial Modeling Specialists, Inc., FMS started by developing custom Paradox DOS database applications and quickly gained a reputation for creating quality custom applications for clients such as AmSouth Bank, PYA Monarch (part of Sara Lee), the National Academy of Sciences, International Monetary Fund, and Westinghouse. At the same time, FMS developed Paradox add-in products and over the years became one of the leading developers of Paradox add-ins. With the release of Microsoft Access in 1993, FMS shifted its focus to creating add-in products for Access power users and developers. The successful release of Total Access (the original version of Total Access Analyzer for Access 1.1), led to the creation of an entire line of products under the Total Access name. Today, FMS is the world's leading developer of Access add-in products with a large family of award winning products. In 1998, FMS introduced its first two products for the Visual Basic developer market: Total VB SourceBook and Total VB Statistics.
